RETURN

By saving a segment of home video as a hundred bitmaps (right), a sequence of cast members is produced that can be intervened upon at any moment, and rearranged in a multitude of ways.

In the interactive sample, each TV has it's proper ninth of the original image to portray. However if the user fails to continually move the cursor across the televisions, randomness sets in, and the image begins to fragment.

This is one of many metaphors within the Interactive Home Movie that articulates the need for ongoing action, and re-presentation, in order to deter the idea that this home video archive is lost to the frailties associated with Usher Syndrome and memory.
